The Long Island Council of the Navy League of the United States adopts ships and shore commands, rewards and honors enlisted personnel, hosts dinners and celebrations for military personnel, and supports family members left behind when spouses and parents are deployed. No prior military service is required to be a member.

Seapower Magazine – All premium, life and corporate members receive the Navy League’s award-winning publication Seapower 10 times a year. Feature interviews and articles document key developments in major ship, aircraft and weapons programs, and convey current news relating to major naval policy and political developments as they pertain to the sea services, the U.S. industrial base and international partners and allies.
The Almanac of Seapower, which is the January issue, is the definitive resource and reference tool for all things related to the sea services, providing comprehensive, current data on the organization, missions, ships, aircraft, weapons, unmanned systems and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance assets of the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Maritime Administration.
